For the better part of twenty five years Danielle Mailer has created commissioned work. Early on in her professional career she focused on making art for individuals, designing pieces to go in homes and gardens. In the last decade she has expanded her repertoire to include larger scale works that have found their way into the public art arena.
Perhaps because of the subject matter, vibrant colors and energetic style, her larger then life creations have turned up on library entrances, hospital hallways and city building facades. Large or small, however, outdoor or in, she welcomes the challenge of a commission.
