Over the last fifteen years Danielle Mailer has shown her work in numerous galleries in Connecticut and beyond. Her group exhibitions include: Beaux Arts Gallery, Woodbury CT.1999, Bachelor Cardinsky Gallery, Kent CT.1999, Blue Mountain Gallery, Chelsea, NYC. 2004, The Silo, Washington CT. (three woman show, 2000) The Washington Art Association, Washington CT. (three person show, 2000), New Arts Gallery, Litchfield, CT.(two person show, 2001) "Roger Smith Lab Gallery" NYC,NY, (three woman show, 2006) Three person show at Berta Walker Gallery, Provincetown Mass, Sept. 2007.
Her one woman shows include: The Wisdom House Gallery, Litchfield CT. 2000, The Norfolk Library, Norfolk CT., 2005, "Little Gorgeous Things Gallery", in Provincetown Mass. 2005." Columbia Teachers College, New York City, 2006, The Bodell/Fahey Gallery NYC, 2007. She is scheduled to have a two person show with the renown kinetic sculptor Tim Prentice at the Mattatuck Museum in Waterbury CT in the spring of 2009. She also opened her own gallery in Goshen CT., "Danielle Mailer Gallery", where she has an ongoing exhibit of her current work.
Recently she sold a painting to Random House Books' to be used for the cover art of the book titled "The Heart of a Family". Her work is collected by the Rockefeller Foundation and also by the renowned movie director, Milos Forman. The Norfolk Library purchased two of her outdoor sculptures where they remain on permanent display. She lives in CT. with her husband, musician Peter McEachern and their three children, two Cockatiels and a Jack Russell terrier.
In addition to her painting career she is Chairmen of the art department at Indian Mountain School in Lakeville CT.
She holds a BA from Bowdoin College, Brunswick Maine.
She attended School of visual Arts, in NYC, to study graphic design and illustration and The New York Studio School, in NYC to study painting.
